LICE!!!!!

Hi people. I’m very depressed right now. For I have a severe case of lice. Please, do not worry for me. I’ll be alright. But for now, I’m writing while the shampoo is working it’s magic on my head. I was going to go a salon where they use all natural shampoos, but it was $300 to come to your house, and $180 to go to the salon, which is in Manhattan. But, the bright side, I get to stay home from school and play games after the treatment! :D On the not so bright side, today was the school election for student council, and I’m not  sure if I can vote later on! Wahhhh!!! It’s alright I guess. It’s not like my vote would break a tie between the 2 candidates for president or anything like that. Even my science teacher thought that I was in class today! Isn’t that so weird? And, I still have homework. Uhgggg! But, at least I got to sleep until 11:30 this morning! That’s good! Well, that’s it for now. Bye!

Carnagie Hall reading

You guys will NEVER belive what has just happened to me. I’ve been to Carnagie Hall. Now, you’re probably saying something like “Big whoop. She went to Carnagie Hall. Whatever.” PEOPLE THIS IS ABSOLOUTLY NOT WHATEVER. But, this trip to Manhattan was not some lesuire stroll. This was a life changing event. J.K. ROWLING WAS IN THE SAME ROOM AS ME. I STOOD BEFORE HER. SHE HAD A THRONE FOR PETE’S SAKE! she read from Book 7, spicifically the part when Ron comes back (page 379 paragraph 3 to page 387 end of chapter), then she answered questions. Thank GOD no one asked something like ‘Is Dumbledore really dead?’ ’cause that’s just plain old stupidity. My question that I submitted was, ‘According to the Sorting Hat’s song, all of the houses unite in a battle of war aganist Voldemort, so why in Book 7 are the Syltherins still evil and with Voldemort?’ which UNFORTUATLY they didn’t pick. But, there were sone pretty good questions. Oh, and by the way, Dumbledore is gay. Isn’t that SO unexpected? one question was ‘does Dumbledore ever find love?’ and J.K. was sitting there with this I’m-thinking-really-hard expression on her face and she says and I quote: “Personally, I think Dumbledore is gay.” end quote. Then LOTS of cheering and clapping from the audience, (that’s us!) then and I quote: “I think that if Dumbledore ever actually found love he would love Grindavald, obviously before Dumbledore found out who he really was.” But, enough about gay Dumbledore, back to the event! So, after the questions, each row was called up to get a SIGNED COPY OF DEATHLY HALLOWS!!!!!!!!!! So, now i have 2 signed copies. Yay! Well, that’s about it. Latah!

This is me holding up my signed copy of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.’

Soccer!

Hey guys! Just wanted to tell you that soccer is my sport (in case you didn’t know) and I’ve been playing since I was 4 years old. So far, my team hasn’t won yet, but the Midnight Twisters will have a victory! At the bottom of the page there is a picture of me as an ‘05 Stampeader, and don’t I look cute! My main positions are offense and midfield. I almost never play defence and goalie. Now that I’m in upper U12, I thought that we would be playing lower U12, but I guess my team has lower U12-ers on it, so we get beaten a lot. But, if we succeed I’ll let you guys know. So that’s all for now! Byeas!

The Hamptons

Right now, at this very moment, I am in East Hampton with Ali S. and her fam. We’re having the best time and we just got back from this totally AWESOME corn maze where the corn is at least 10 feet tall! And yes, we did get lost once or twice. But here’s the cool part. We got a postcard from the place and it showed an birds-eye view of the maze, in the center paths are forming the shape of a pig! (Maybe later I can scan the postcard and put it up for you guys to see!) But get this, in the center, there are real-live pigs! And they are adorable! But enough about pigs in mazes! Yesterday we went to the beach, and it was sooooo cool! Everyone said that the water was freezing cold and how could I possibly stand it when it was so freezing when it was really nice. The waves weren’t too high so you could actually swim in the water. But, I guess the fun stops after dinner. WAHHHHHHHH! Me and dad are leaving right after we eat. but, on the bright side, milk and cookies! I’m working on Ali’s dad’s computer while Ali working on her brand new laptop which I am EXTREMLY jealous of, I have to admit. Plus, IT’S PINK!!!!!!! So totally unfair. Well, that’s all for now!

Middle School

Today is our 7th day at New Voices School of Academic and Creative Arts. And it’s been pretty good if you think that it’s good to be a shrimpy little white girl in a school filled with juvinile delinquents that consider themselves “gangstas.” My school is very clique-y. There’s the P.S. 295-er’s who just had to go upstairs to get to middle school, and are very self centered. The ganster boys who only talk about baseball and such and only waer baggy Sean John and Ralph Lauren shirts and jeans that sag down so much that you can see over half of their boxers. The gangster girls who only talk about makeup, clothes and accessories, and always wears slim jeans with big, flashy belts, and Roca Wear and Baby Phat shirts that look and MUST feel way too tight. And then there’s a geeks and white, shrimpy people. That’s where I fall into. My school is only 2 floors and the floors are shaped like I’s. So we can kinda take our time getting from 1 class to another. BUT, if you’re coming from dance to art, it’s not fun. walking up 8 flights of stairs from the basement to the 3rd floor. Doesn’t seem so bad huh? Well, it is if you’re carrying 2 10 pound textbooks in a 30 pound bookbag. That is the life and times of New Voices, Middle School of DOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!
